Mohamed Sanu will be back for his 10th NFL season in 2021!

According to Mike McCartney, Sanu’s agent, the wide receiver has inked a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. Sanu finished the 2020 season by appearing in three games for the 49ers after starting the year with the Detroit Lions.

Sanu has bounced around the last two seasons after beginning his career with stints with the Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons. He has seen action with four teams since the start of 2019, including the Falcons, Lions, New England Patriots, and 49ers.

His best statistical season in the league came in 2018 with the Falcons when he caught 66 passes for 838 yards and four touchdowns. For his career, Sanu has 420 catches for 4,694 yards and 27 touchdowns. He has also thrown four touchdowns in his career.

A third-round pick of the Bengals in 2012, Sanu played at Rutgers from 2009-11. He finished fourth on the school’s all-time list with 2,263 receiving yards and had 12 touchdowns.
