Gavin Wimsatt and Rutgers are looking to put the finishing touches on a bowl-clinching victory against Indiana. The Scarlet Knights took a big step forward early in the fourth quarter.

Facing a 2nd-and-5 play from deep in their own territory, the Knights dialed up a read-option play. Wimsatt eventually tucked the ball as the first defensive lineman bit on the running back, and then the quarterback really went to work.

He made one man miss in the hole and found a crease to bounce outside and down the sideline. Wimsatt was past the last line of defense in the blink of an eye and churned up the open space.

No one was able to catch him as he capped off the 80-yard score for a 31-14 lead over the Hoosiers:

Indiana still has a chance to get back into the game, but Rutgers has a commanding lead with time on its side. Wimsatt is up to 143 rushing yards with all 3 Scarlet Knight touchdowns against the Hoosiers.
