Schiano has accomplished this in his two stints with the football program going from 2001 to 2011 and from 2020 to the present. He has an overall record of 79-81 as the head coach of Schiano.
He left Rutgers after the 2011 season to become the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two seasons. After his two tough years in the NFL, he was the assistant head coach/defensive coordinator for Ohio State from 2016 to 2018.
Rutgers has started the 2022 season 3-0 after a 22-21 win on the road versus Boston College, a 66-7 win over Wagner, and the 16-14 win at Temple.
Rutgers is set to start B1G play next week as they host Iowa.
