Greg Schiano is officially the head coach at Rutgers.
The deal was completed earlier this week, and on Wednesday morning, Schiano took the podium to be introduced as the returning head coach of the Scarlet Knights. He brought enthusiasm, excitement and energy to the opening press conference, restoring some hope in the football program.
Schiano talked about several things during his press conference on Wednesday, discussing primarily what it will take to make Rutgers relevant in the B1G and how it can have regular success. Schiano talked a lot about the hard work it’s going to take to restore pride in the program.
And he also has high expectations for the future at Rutgers. Below are some of the highlights from Schiano’s introductory press conference:

It had been a while since Greg Schiano was back on campus.
He recently took a tour, incognito, thinking this could happen.
