Highlights from Rutgers' annual spring game on Friday night
The offense started the show on Friday night but it was the defense that flexed its muscle the rest of the way. It was an interesting way for Rutgers to close out the spring season.
Greg Schiano’s Scarlet Knights ended the practice schedule with the annual spring game on Friday night. Quarterbacks Noah Vedral and Gavin Wimsatt looked really good on their opening drives, combining to complete 6-of-6 passes for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns.
After that, the defense stood tall.
The offenses hit on some big plays throughout the course of the game, but the scoring was limited. The White defeated Scarlet 14-10 when the clock hit all zeroes on the scoreboard.
