Jason McCourty, former Rutgers and New England Patriots DB, might be enjoying retirement in terms of resting his body, but he’s far from done working when it comes to football.

McCourty is set to join the radio broadcast booth for a select number of Thursday Night Football games on Westwood One. The games McCourty is slated to work on have yet to be announced as of this time.

The twin brother of Patriots’ defensive back Devin McCourty, Jason McCourty became a star for the Scarlet Knights starting in 2005. In 4 seasons, Jason McCourty played in 48 games, recording 150 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 14 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions.

Drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2009, McCourty spent 13 seasons in the league. He played 8 seasons with the Titans before joining the Cleveland Browns in 2017. He then would reunite with Devin McCourty in New England for 3 seasons, helping the franchise win its 6th Super Bowl in 2018.

Jason McCourty would finish his career with the Miami Dolphins last season. In 13 seasons, McCourty played in 173 games, recording 744 tackles, 108 pass deflections, 18 interceptions, and 9 forced fumbles.

McCourty also currently is a panelist on the hit NFL Network show “Good Morning Football.”
