Kyle Monangai, Rutgers RB and B1G's leading rusher, reveals plans for 2024
Kyle Monangai is a veteran running back and a key contributor for Rutgers during the success of getting to a bowl game in 2023.
This season, Monangai led the B1G with 1,099 rushing yards and averaged 5.1 yards per carry to go with 7 rushing touchdowns. He eclipsed 100 yards rushing 6 times this season and is a major piece in the B1G.
On Monday, he provided some big news for Greg Schiano and the Scarlet Knights heading into bowl season. According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Monangai revealed he intends to utilize a 5th season of eligibility and return to Rutgers for the 2024 season.

In his career, Monangai has 1,779 rushing yards while averaging 4.6 yards per carry and 13 rushing touchdowns. He should be in line for another impact season with the Scarlet Knights as the team will look to secure a second straight bowl game in 2024.
