LOOK: Rutgers unveils blackout uniforms

Oregon has some pretty sweet uniforms.

Maryland does, too. But, what about Rutgers?

When you think of slick, new, trendy uniforms, do the Scarlet Knights come to mind? Probably not. Well, it may be time to change your mind.

On Thursday night, these were shown off on Twitter:

How do these uniforms stack up against the rest? They’re pretty sweet, right?

The helmets have the New Jersey state logo on them, certainly making them unique.

As Rutgers’ Rivals account said, the uniforms will be worn for the game on Oct. 6 against Illinois. That contest is scheduled to begin at noon and will be played at home in Piscataway, N.J.
