LOOK: Rutgers will wear all-black uniforms vs. Maryland
There will be a blackout in Piscataway on Saturday afternoon.
On Monday, the official Twitter account of Rutgers football tweeted out that Saturday’s game against will be a blackout for everyone inside High Point Solutions Stadium. That includes the players, as well.
The Scarlet Knights will be sporting some sweet, all-black uniforms for this weekend’s game against Maryland. Photos of the jersey, pants and helmet were also tweeted out.

That’s a pretty nice look for the Scarlet Knights.
Rutgers is 3-5 on the season and 2-3 in B1G play this season. They fell to Michigan 35-14 in Ann Arbor last Saturday, ending a two-game conference win streak. Maryland enters the contest with a 4-4 mark and is also 2-3 in league play.
Saturday’s game between the Terrapins and the Scarlet Knights is schedule to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on Big Ten Network.
Maryland is currently tabbed as a two-point favorite for the contest.
