Adam Korsak is a serious weapon for Rutgers, and his punt turned into an extra possession for the Scarlet Knights early against Ohio State.
Facing huge odds on the road against the Buckeyes, Rutgers faced an early 4th-down play and punted away. Korsak’s kick was a beauty and forced Emeka Egbuka to backtrack.
Egbuka could not handle the punt, fumbling it right back to the Scarlet Knights early in the game.

Ohio State’s defense was able to force a 3rd-and-6 backed up against its end zone, but that did not matter. Quarterback Evan Simon tossed a ball up on a one-on-one situation for Sean Ryan.
Ryan made a beautiful play on the ball and came down with the grab for an early 7-0 lead on the road in Columbus. The lead was shortlived but it’s a nice spark for Rutgers early in the game.
