The Rutgers Temple matchup that was supposed to happen Thursday night has been delayed until Saturday at Noon ET on BTN because of the remnants of Hurricane Ida.

The northeast has been getting hit pretty hard by the storm, and there has been significant flooding in areas such as New York and New Jersey.

Right now, there is no way to even get to SHI stadium because the road to it is flooded.

The game was supposed to be played Thursday night at 6:30 ET on BTN in front of a sold-out crowd. SHI Stadium holds 52,454 fans.

Rutgers last season was 3-6 in Greg Schiano’s return debut to the program. Rutgers won all 3 games on the road last season.

Rutgers has not won a home football game since October of 2019. They have not won a B1G home football game since November of 2017.

Rutgers this season plays 4 opponents in the AP Top-25 No.4 Ohio State, No.12 Wisconsin, No.17 Indiana, and No.19 Penn State.

Their opponent for Saturday, the Temple Owls, had an abysmal record of 1-6 last season; they only played AAC opponents.
