The Michigan-Rutgers game tonight has seen a little bit of everything and now we have an outstanding hit by Avery Young on Erick All.

All was making a leaping catch before Young came and hit him right in the numbers which dislodged the ball before All even hit the ground.

Here’s a video of the play:

Coming into this game, Young was having a superb start to the season as he had accumulated 24 tackles (12 solo) with two forced fumbles. He was coming off a season where he had 35 total tackles (16 solo) with one interception. He also had five passes defended for the Scarlet Knights.

For All, he came into this game with seven receptions for 47 yards with a career-long of 27 yards on one of them.

Despite Young making this outstanding play though, Michigan was able to drive down the field and take their first lead of the game, 28-27. We’ll have to see if Rutgers can come back with another response.
