Rutgers has its head coach. It has Greg Schiano. It got its guy that every Scarlet Knight fan wanted. But, what about the assistants under Schiano?

Well, Rutgers has a void at offensive coordinator, but according to a report, the school is finalizing a three-year deal that would make Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson its own:

Gleeson, originally from Glen Ridge, New Jersey, could be coming back home to coach the Scarlet Knights’ offense.

He was the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach this past season and Oklahoma State went 8-5 overall, averaging 32.6 points per game. That mark ranked 26th nationally and Gleeson’s offense also finished 17th in the country in rushing yards per game, racking up 229.6 yards per contest.

Prior to his time there, he spent the 2013-18 seasons at Princeton working as either a running backs coach or as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
