Rutgers graduate transfer offensive guard Jonah Jackson has reportedly picked up an offer from Ohio State and plans to visit Columbus sometime this week.

Bobby Deren of 247Sports reported that Jackson received an offer from the Buckeyes and will be visiting campus this week. The offensive guard is one of three Scarlet Knights who decided to enter the transfer portal this offseason.

According to Deren, Jackson is also being pursued by other B1G programs, including Penn State, Maryland and Iowa.

Jackson was a team captain for Rutgers in 2018, starting in 11 games in 2018 at right guard. He also has experience at center, a position he played in 2017.

He was an All-B1G honorable mention last fall.

Jackson’s departure from Piscataway is a huge loss for Chris Ash as he hopes to right the ship entering his fourth season with Rutgers.

The Scarlet Knights finished the 2018 season 1-11 and were winless in B1G play. The year was quite different for Ohio State, which won the B1G and earned a Rose Bowl victory to end with a 13-1 record.
