It didn’t take Rutgers long to replace defensive backs coach Bill Busch.

If you missed the news last week, Busch left Rutgers to join the LSU coaching staff. Rutgers is now set to replace Busch with Indiana safeties coach Noah Joseph, according to Keith Sargeant of NJ.com.

Joseph spent five seasons with Indiana. Before landing his job in the Big Ten, Joseph was safeties coach and recruiting coordinator for North Texas in 2012-13. Joseph also has experience (as co-defensive coordinator, secondary coach and recruiting coordinator) at Montana State and Eastern Illinois.

Interestingly enough, Joseph played for Rutgers head coach Chris Ash when they were both at Drake. Following his playing career, Joseph started his coaching career by becoming a graduate assistant at Drake.
