Even a bounce pass can occasionally produce a highlight!

Rutgers basketball is off to an 8-3 start this season and is taking on Lafayette Sunday. So far, the Scarlet Knights have controlled the action with center Myles Johnson putting up a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds as the game action is winding down.

During the game, Rutgers’ Ron Harper Jr. came up with one beautiful pass. It covered a lot of distance as Harper passed the ball deep down court on a fast break.

The bounce pass split Lafayette’s defense perfectly and could not have been placed better. It found Jacob Young perfectly in stride for an easy layup:

Harper has broken out nicely to start the season, seeing an increase in his points and rebounds per game. He is averaging 12.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game to start the season.
