Rutgers announces team captains for 2021 season

Rutgers has named its team captains for the 2021 season.
The Scarlet Knights will kick off their season on Thursday, Sept. 2 against Temple at SHI Stadium. This weekend, Rutgers revealed its captains for the upcoming season. The following players will be captains:
- WR Bo Melton
- QB Noah Vedral
- RB Isaih Pacheco
- LB Olakunle Fatukasi
- DL Julius Turner
- P Adam Korsak

Rutgers is coming off a 3-6 year in 2020, Greg Schiano’s first year since returning to Piscataway. Despite the losing record, the Scarlet Knights looked vastly improved.
What will the Scarlet Knights look like in 2021? There’s hope the team can get to bowl eligibility in Schiano’s second year. They’ve got a pretty good group of leaders.
