Rutgers assistant, former Scarlet Knights standout reportedly leaving for ACC program

Pittsburgh is hiring Rutgers wide receivers coach Tiquan Underwood, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Underwood completed his second season on the Scarlet Knights’ coaching staff. A 4-year letterwinner for Rutgers from 2005-08, Underwood holds the program record for receiving yards in a game (248 yards vs. Buffalo, 2007) and spent 5 seasons in the NFL. The New Brunswick, New Jersey, native returned to his alma mater after working the 2019 season on the Miami Dolphins’ staff. He also has a season of experience coaching Lafayette wide receivers (2018).
