Rutgers baseball caps weekend sweep of Nebraska with dominant 19-run outburst
Rutgers baseball is rolling right along and put up an impressive performance on Sunday afternoon.
Looking for the sweep over Nebraska, the Scarlet Knights flipped the momentum in a big way with a 10-run 7th inning. That frame was punctuated by a grand slam produced by Danny DiGeorgio.
In total, Rutgers blasted 5 home runs offensively while scoring 19 runs against the Huskers for the 19-1 win. Justin Sinibaldi scattered 2 hits and 2 walks with one run over 5 and a third innings to pick up the win for Rutgers.
