Rutgers has rescheduled its final two games of the non-conference basketball season.

Because of a COVID-19 outbreak within the basketball program, the Scarlet Knights have rescheduled games against Maine and Central Connecticut State. The program announced the new dates on Thursday.

Rutgers will play Maine on Dec. 30 and will turn around and play Central Connecticut State on Jan. 1. Both games are scheduled to be played at Jersey Mike’s Arena in Piscataway.

Tip-off against Maine is set for 1 p.m. ET and will air on Big Ten Network. The game against Central Connecticut State will begin at 5 p.m. ET but no network has been announced at this time.

Rutgers is 5-5 this season and is 1-1 in the B1G. The Scarlet Knights have a marquee victory over then-No. 1 Purdue in early December.
