After one season at Rutgers, Alijah Clark will look at continuing his college football career elsewhere.
Clark tweeted Monday night that he is entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Entering the portal does not bind a player to go through with a transfer elsewhere, but Clark’s announcement, below, has the tone of a farewell note. He thanked Coach Greg Schiano for the opportunity.

Out of Camden (New Jersey), Clark was a 4-star recruit in the class of 2021. The No. 22 cornerback in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite, Clark chose the Scarlet Knights over 8 other scholarship offers from Boston College, Maryland, Massachusetts, Miami, Michigan, NC State, Temple and West Virginia.
This season, Clark played in 7 games, logging 6 tackles and an interception.
