Rutgers hoops adds commitment from top-125 forward out of Massachusetts
Rutgers basketball landed a commitment from top-125 prospect Bryce Dortch Tuesday, beating out the likes of Virginia Tech and Temple for his commitment.
Dortch is a fringe 3/4-star prospect. According to 247Sports composite rankings Dortch is listed as a 4-star and rated as the No. 108 player in the country. He’s also considered to be the No. 25 PF and No. 4 player out of Massachusetts.
He stands at 6-8, 190 pounds and represents Rutgers’ 3rd commitment of the Class of 2024, joining 5-star SF Airious Bailey and 4-star center Lathan Sommerville. Incredibly, the Scarlet Knights now boast a top 5 class in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

Steve Pikiell really has something going in Piscataway. The Scarlet Knights’ 2024 class is already looking great and Rutgers is starting to crack the tournament field more often than not in recent years.
