Rutgers lands early commitment from 2022 dual-threat QB
Rutgers is already working hard to put together its 2022 recruiting class.
With Greg Schiano back in town, the Scarlet Knights are eager to turn things around. After a string of abysmal seasons, there really is nowhere to go but up for the program.
The first step for Rutgers is to improve the recruiting with Schiano already working hard to improve the 2020 roster and beyond. On Monday, the Scarlet Knights picked up a commitment from a quarterback in the 2022 class.
That recruit is Rashad Rochelle, a dual-threat quarterback out of Springfield, Illinois. He is currently rated a three-star prospect by 247 Sports and has received offers from Purdue and Illinois, amongst others.
