The 6-foot-2, 292-pound Ray served in more of a reserve role this season for the Seminoles and chose to enter the transfer portal in December. He posted 19 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two pass breakups.
Following a redshirt year in 2019, Ray has posted 57 career tackles, 8.5 TFLs, three sacks, and two pass breakups. He’s a former 3-star recruit.
Ray is the fourth known transfer to pledge to the Scarlet Knights during the winter window. He joins former Monmouth receiver Dymere Miller, former Minnesota quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis, and his brother, receiver Dino Kaliakmanis. The program also signed three defensive linemen and two edge rushers in the 2024 freshman class.
