One of the top ten players from the state of New Jersey has committed to Rutgers.
Thursday, one day after the 2020 National Signing Day, Rutgers picked up a major addition to its 2021 recruiting class. Three-star defensive back Alijah Clark tweeted out that he would be committing to the Scarlet Knights. He was the first player of the class to commit to Rutgers.

According to 247Sports, Clark ranks as one of the top 500 players in the 2021 recruiting class, coming in at No. 460 overall. He’s also ranked as the No. 35 player at his position.
Clark, a native of Camden, New Jersey, is listed as the No. 10 player from his home state.
Rutgers signed the 13th-ranked 2020 recruiting class in the B1G, but do have some transfer players coming in who could make a big impact for the program. With that class now in the books, Greg Schiano is wasting no time in piecing together the future at Rutgers.
