Greg Schiano’s Rutgers staff is having a big recruiting day. The Scarlet Knights have already picked up a pair of commitments for their 2023 class on Sunday.

The first pledge came from Jesse Ofurie out of St. John’s Prep in Danvers, Massachusetts. Ofurie is listed at 6-2, 195 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 8 Massachusetts product and No. 108 wide receiver by 247Sports. Ofurie has 20 scholarship offers, including service academies and Ivy League programs.

Following Ofurie’s pledge, Mozell Williams joined the class. The 6-5, 340-pound Hawthorne (Florida) offensive lineman does not have a 247Sports star rating but has scholarship offers from 10 schools, including Florida International and Florida Atlantic.

With the 2 new pledges, Rutgers now has 11 commitments in its 2023 class.
