Noah Vedral came out swinging for Rutgers on Friday night, scoring within the first 4 minutes of the game.

Vedral scored his first TD of the season, taking it 21 yards to the end zone to put the Knights up 7-0. The QB side-stepped two Nebraska defenders before stretching for the pylon. Vedral led a 70-yard march down the field, scoring with 12:22 still remaining in the first quarter.

Watch the QB take it to the house below:

Vedral transferred to Rutgers from Nebraska in 2018, going 18-for-29 passing for 169 yards and a touchdown with a 24-yard rushing score to beat Michigan State in his debut as starting QB for the Knights. He has thrown for more than 3,100 yards over the past 2 seasons with Rutgers, with 19 total touchdowns.

The sixth-year senior was supposed to start this season but was sidelined with an injury until the Ohio State game in Week 5. Vedral only rushed 4 times for 10 yards in that contest.

Apparently, the QB is back at full capacity and is it fighting shape against his former team.
