Rutgers reportedly not renewing contract for DC Robb Smith
The coaching carousel has slowed down a bit after an offseason unlike any other in college sports. There still has been some shuffling coordinators in recent weeks.
In B1G country, Rutgers DC Robb Smith has accepted the same position with the Duke Blue Devils after the Scarlet Knights decided not to renew his contract.
James Kratch of NJ.com reported the news on Monday.

Smith has many ties to B1G country as he was the former Minnesota Golden Gophers DC before taking the same position with Rutgers.
Rutgers seems to be on the right track in head coach Greg Schiano’s 2nd stint with the team. The Scarlet Knights were just 1 win away from a bowl game as they finished 5-7 and 2-7 in B1G play.
Rutgers has missed out on a bowl game in each of the last 7 seasons. Their last bowl appearance was back in 2014 when they played North Carolina in the Quick Lane Bowl and won 40-21.
Rutgers will try and snap the 7-year bowl-less streak in the 2022 season.
