Rutgers runs successful 49-yard reverse, pitch back trickeration play that leads to TD
Rutgers is taking on Maryland Saturday afternoon in what is Nunzio Campanile’s first game as interim head coach after former coach Chris Ash got fired this past week.

The Scarlet Knights have played inspired football early in the game and showed that Campanile isn’t afraid to take chances.

Bo Melton was on the receiving end of this pass from quarterback Johnny Langan, who is making his first collegiate start. The play led to Rutgers’ first TD of the game, which tied the score at 7-7.
Langan played QB for Campanile at Bergen Catholic High School.
