Chris Ash received some good news over the weekend, landing a commitment from a talented Florida receiver.

On Sunday, 3-star wide receiver Isaiah Washington gave his commitment to Rutgers, making an announcement via Twitter. He became the 14th member of the Scarlet Knights’ 2019 class.

“It has been an interesting recruiting process, I’ve had the best high school coaching staff to coach me, and an incredible support system through my family,” Washington wrote on Twitter. “Through everything I thank God, because with Him nothing is possible. With that being said, I am doing what is best for me and committing to Rutgers University.”

Washington is the first wide receiver to commit to Rutgers’ 2019 class. The 6-foot-3, 192-pound Florida native had offers from Boston College, Colorado State, Cincinnati and UConn.

Rutgers 2019 class ranks 66th nationally and 12th in the B1G. The Scarlet Knights are coming off a 1-11 season.
