Rutgers continues to build its 2023 recruiting class as recent visitors pledge to play for the Scarlet Knights. On Monday, Ohio offensive tackle Dominic Rivera committed to play for Greg Schiano’s team. He’s the fourth player to have visited Rutgers this past weekend and announce a verbal commitment to the program.

“First off, I would like to thank my family for the constant love and support they have been giving since the start,” Rivera wrote on Twitter. “Secondly, I would like to thank Coach Deluca, Coach Rivera and many others for helping me with this process and my development since the beginning. And I would like to give one last thank you to my teammates for always having my back and pushing me to be my best. With that being said, I am beyond blessed to commit to Rutgers University!!!!”

Rivera, out of Olmsted Falls, is listed at 6-7, 310 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 26 Ohio product, No. 77 offensive tackle and No. 878 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. He has 11 scholarship offers, including Boston College, Iowa State and Syracuse.
