Despite trailing 23-13 in the second half, Rutgers got right back into the game, thanks to a Kay’Ron Adams 62-yard receiving touchdown. They now trail Purdue 23-20 in the third quarter of the game.

Here’s the play, courtesy of FOX College Football:

Once Adams caught the ball, he was absolutely gone as he raced past everyone in the Boilermakers secondary. For this game so far, Adams had two receptions for 68 yards and that touchdown.

This was also Johnny Langan’s first pass of the game and it went for a touchdown.  He came in for quarterback Artur Sitkowski during that drive..

After that touchdown though, Purdue was able to answer right back and go up 30-20 before Rutgers answered again and cut the Boilermakers lead to 30-27. The game is currently being shown on FS1.
