Rutgers to don all-black uniforms for showdown with Penn State
The Scarlet Knights will not be showing off much scarlet this weekend.
Instead of the traditional scarlet home uniforms, Rutgers is switching things up a bit. This week, it will be an all-black combination as the team hits the field against Penn State.
We may be biased, but this combination is legit with the black highlighted perfectly with scarlet accents throughout. Check it out:

With Penn State likely wearing its traditional all-white road uniforms, it should be a beautiful contrast on the field.
Greg Schiano’s Knights have looked much-improved this season after winning their second game of the season in an upset of Purdue last weekend. At 2-4, Rutgers is looking to knock off Penn State for the first time since 1988.
At 1-5, James Franklin’s squad has been through it all this year but is looking for a strong finish to the season. After a win over Michigan, the Nittany Lions will look to keep things rolling in Week 7.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 12 pm EST on FS1.
