One of Rutgers’ top playmakers won’t play against Nebraska.
According to Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com, Janarion Grant was ruled out for the Scarlet Knights’ B1G opener against Nebraska. The star receiver was a non-contact participant in practice last week.

Grant has 12 receptions for 113 yards and has amassed 286 all-purpose yards through the first three weeks of the season. He leads Rutgers in all three categories.
This is a huge loss for the Scarlet Knights, who lack playmakers this season. We’ll see if anyone steps up in Grant’s absence.
