Rutgers WR opts out of season
A Rutgers wide receiver has opted out of the 2020 season, becoming the first player in the program to make the decision.
Friday, Everett Wormley announced that he has opted out of the 2020 season, with plans to return to the Scarlet Knights in 2021. He cited the uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 pandemic has the primary reason behind his decision.
Wormley took to Twitter to make his announcement.

Wormley has appeared in 23 career games for the Scarlet Knights over the last three seasons. However, he played in just two games during the 2019 campaign and was able to maintain his redshirt status that year.
In those 23 contests, Wormley has totaled 5 receptions for 28 yards.
