Horrible news came out on Thursday involving Rutgers football.

Scarlet Knights coach Chris Ash spoke with the media after Saturday’s practice and confirmed that wide receiver Monterio Hunt will miss the 2019 season:

“Monterio Hunt suffered an ACL injury a few days ago,” head coach Chris Ash said after today’s practice. “He will miss the season. It was a non-contact deal. He went up to catch a ball and he came down, landed a little awkward and the knee buckled. It was confirmed the other day that he tore his ACL and will be out.”
