The Rutgers University football stadium will undergo a name change for the 2018 season and beyond.

Well, kind of.

Thursday, Rutgers announced that High Point Solutions Stadium will now be known as HighPoint.com Stadium, coinciding with the company’s rebrand. The rename is effective immediately.

“Rutgers and HighPoint have shared a long-standing successful partnership since Tom and Mike [Mendiburu] joined the Scarlet Knights family in 2011,” said Director of Athletics Pat Hobbs. “We are excited to help support this next chapter in HighPoint’s evolution as a company and we look forward to continuing to work together as they make strides as innovators in the technology industry.”

The stadium holds 52,454 seats and has been known as High Point Solutions Stadium since 2011. In 2018, the Scarlet Knights will host seven games inside HighPoint.com Stadium, including matchups against No. 14 Michigan and No. 10 Penn State later in the year.

Rutgers opens the season Saturday at home against Texas State.
