Things still aren’t going well for Rutgers even after the coaching change

Heading into Week 6, Rutgers was perfect in the kicking game. Junior kicker Justin Davidovicz went 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts and 7-of-7 while kicking extra points in the Scarlet Knights’ first four games.
But that perfect mark ended in a memorable way on Rutgers’ first offensive possession against Maryland on Saturday. Davidovicz had his 37-yard attempt partially blocked, and while he still kicked it hard enough for the ball to somewhat continue on its trajectory, it hit squarely hit the crossbar and bounced backwards for the miss.
Although from this video, it doesn’t even appear to be blocked:

Either way, things haven’t improved for Rutgers despite replacing fired coach Chris Ash with Ninzio Campanile. Maryland scored an 80-yard touchdown on the very next play.
