Todd Bowles spoke about a certain rookie on Wednesday. He has loved seeing the consistency of the former Rutgers LB.

Olakunle Fatukasi officially made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster, and 1 of the reasons was his level of production on the football field. The undrafted free agent was raising eyebrows during the entirety of training camp. Fatukasi led the Scarlet Knights in total tackles (81), was 2nd in sacks (3.5), and 1st in solo tackles (50) in his final season before he went to the NFL.

“He had a good camp all the way through,” said Bowles. “He was consistent, he made plays. He lined up in both spots, and he got better and better each week. He forced himself on this team. He made us take notice, and he was consistent at it.”

The Buccaneers already have a solid LB core, and may have just found themselves a hidden gem. Fatukasi is 1 step closer to fulfilling his dream of playing in the NFL.
