A popular trading card company will soon be releasing an item that will immediately become a must-have item for any Rutgers fan.

Allen & Ginter is notorious for producing popular baseball cards but has dabbled in adding celebrities and other popular figures to its collection. LeGrand – who has become a popular inspiration as he recovers from his paralysis caused by a tackle in 2010 – is one of the well known figures the company would like to highlight.
From Topps Allen & Ginter Vice President of Marketing Dan Kinton:
Topps Allen & Ginter baseball cards feature people beyond the diamond such as world champions or well known figures. Eric LeGrand embodies everything that Allen & Ginter is about with his sensational spirit and inspiriting attitude. We are proud to have him on one of our trading cards again.
LeGrand was also featured in 2012 as part of the 2012 Topps Football set.
Other major figures that will receiver their own card include New York Yankees star Aaron Judge, boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., actor William Shatner and ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith.
Since his tragic accident, LeGrand’s optimistic and positive attitude have been an inspiration to many across the country. This honor is another reminder of just how popular and important LeGrand, and his message, have become.
This is a must-have item even if you’re a fan of some other team.
