Tyler Kroft, former Rutgers tight end and current San Fransisco 49er, is listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

The seventh year player is dealing with a knee injury and will not play in Sunday’s contest, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Kroft has had a slow start to the season so far with just 1 reception and 9 receiving yards in just two games. Last season, Kroft played just nine games, and picked up 173 yards and a touchdown. Over his career, he has amassed 1,033 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Kroft played at Rutgers from 2012 to 2014 and he picked up 901 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns across his career. He was drafted in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

He has played for Cincinnati, the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and most recently the 49ers.

The 49ers are 2-2 ahead of Week 5. Trey Lance went down with a season ending injury and Jimmy Garappolo is the starter once again like before.
