The long win streak continues for Rutgers baseball.

Sunday afternoon, Jordan Sweeney stretched that winning streak to 15 games after blasting a solo shot over the fence to lift the Scarlet Knights over Indiana 10-9. The home run came in the bottom of the 9th inning.

It was the second straight game Sweeney was the hero. On Saturday, Sweeney hit a 3-run triple in the bottom of the 8th inning to put Rutgers ahead 4-2, leading to another victory.

It’s quite a win streak for the Scarlet Knights, which haven’t loss since an 8-6 defeat at the hands of Penn State in State College on March 25. Since that loss, Rutgers has swept Minnesota, Nebraska and Indiana in 3 conference 3-game series’.

With the victory, Rutgers improved to 30-6 on the season with an 11-1 mark in B1G play. The Scarlet Knights will play Iona on Tuesday and Princeton on Wednesday before hosting Iowa for a 3-game series on Friday-Sunday.
