The Big Ten as a whole did extremely well opening up the 2016 college football season, going 12-2 overall. One of the two teams that lost, however, was Rutgers.

The Scarlet Knights had one of the tougher challenges of course, as the team had to travel to play No. 14 Washington. The Huskies defeated Rutgers, 48-13.
