Rutgers athletic director did everything he could to get students and fans inside High Point Solutions Stadium last Friday for the season opening game against Washington. And the for the Week 1 clash, the Scarlet Knights enjoyed a nice crowd.
Boats, live music, carnival games, food trucks and even a hot tub inside the stadium were all a part of Rutgers’ season opening push to bring fans to Piscataway, a game that was dubbed “The War Before the Shore.”
Members of Rutgers’ football team really appreciated the efforts from the students and fans last Friday. So they created a video thanking those who came out and showed support against Washington.
