What Greg Schiano said during his weekly presser as Rutgers prepares for Wisconsin
Rutgers got back in the “W” column on Saturday after it had a 4-game losing streak coming into the matchup against Illinois.
The Scarlet Knights won a close affair against the Fighting Illini, 20-14 as they came back in the 4th quarter and outscored them 10-0. Both Kyle Monangai and Noah Vedral had rushing touchdowns as Rutgers torched Illinois on the ground with 235 rushing yards overall.
Illinois didn’t even have to do anything in the passing game as Vedral had just 138 yards through the air.
