UCLA will have a happy flight back to Southern California as it defeated Nebraska 27-20 in Lincoln on Saturday.

The Bruins, who improved to 3-5 with the win, denied the Cornhuskers an opportunity to clinch bowl eligibility in front of their home fans. But the Huskers had a chance to drive down the field for a potential game-tying drive with about 30 seconds left in regulation.

Backup quarterback Heinrich Haarberg, though, fired it to the right sideline, and the ball was deflected and appeared as if it would fall incomplete. On its way down, though, it hit off the leg of a Nebraska receiver and was snagged by defensive back Kaylin Moore.

Here’s video of Moore’s crazy pick, the first of the senior’s collegiate career:

The Bruins still have a shot at bowl eligibility with the win over the Huskers with 4 games to go. Their remaining schedule sees them host Iowa before traveling to Washington and wrapping the season up with home games against USC and Fresno State.

The Huskers, meanwhile, finish at USC, then host Wisconsin before heading to Iowa to close the campaign. They have not been to a bowl game since 2016.
