Garrett Riley is going to have his brother, USC head coach Lincoln Riley, in attendance for Monday’s national championship game. However, the offensive coordinator for Sonny Dykes and the Horned Frogs said he’s not getting any tickets for his brother.

During Saturday’s media day for the College Football Playoff National Championship, Garrett said he won’t provide tickets for his brother but he’s “sure (Lincoln) can find some tickets,” per Action Network’s Brett McMurphy.

Garrett Riley is in his first season as OC at TCU after previously holding the same role at SMU under Dykes from 2020-21.

His comments about tickets and his brother Lincoln are interesting on a few fronts. It could be just a bit of friendly kidding between brothers, or it could be Garrett getting in a dig at Lincoln after the former head coach of Oklahoma left the Big 12 for California and the head coaching job of the Trojans.

Either way, it sounds like Lincoln will be in attendance but without the help of his brother. We’ll see if Garrett’s offense is up to speed and ready to hang with Georgia on Monday.
