Malachi Nelson, a USC commit, is taking a visit to a different school. The QB out of Los Alamitos, California is reportedly visiting Texas A&M according to Billy Liucci of TexAgs and Antonio Morales of The Athletic.

Nelson is listed as a 5-star QB per the 247Sports Composite. He is also the No. 2 QB and No. 1 recruit from California from the 2023 class. The highly touted QB prospect is reportedly visiting with the Aggies from July 29-31. His time in College Station will be on an unofficial visit according to Liucci.

Morales stated that sources told him that Nelson shared the news with Trojans’ HC Lincoln Riley, and then told some more USC recruits in a group chat. Nelson originally committed to USC back on Nov. 30.
