Miller Moss injured during remarkable spinning TD run vs. Wisconsin
Miller Moss is not scared to play from behind in a game, and he continues to light up Wisconsin in the 2nd half of Saturday’s game.
After heading to halftime down by 11 points, USC came out swinging in the 2nd half behind Moss’s contributions. He has engineered 3 touchdown drives after the break, including a run on 4th down to give the Trojans a 10-point cushion.
The play was dramatic with Moss spinning away from one defender before going airborne near the goal line. He came down hard and hit his head on the field, but the touchdown stood up after review.

The decision to go for it on 4th-and-1 instead of kicking the field goal is a big one for Lincoln Riley with the Trojans now holding a 10-point lead instead of a 6-point lead. Moss has accounted for all 4 touchdowns, including 3 through the air with 311 passing yards, but his status will be something to monitor moving forward.
USC’s star QB was clearly shaken up after his hard fall at the goal line, and the CBS broadcast described Moss as appearing “woozy” on the sideline. The broadcast also reported he was quickly examined before being ushered to the training tent to be evaluated for a potential concussion.
The good news is that USC has the 2-possession lead after Moss’s touchdown. However, the Trojans will undoubtedly want him available for the key games still come on the schedule.
UPDATE
After being evaluated in the injury tent, Moss returned to lead the ensuing drive for the Trojans. He did complete a short pass in that drive but USC went 3-and-out.
