Who should be the winner of the 2023 Heisman Trophy? Sam Acho and Rod Gilmore went on ESPN to talk about it.

Acho immediately thought of someone that could win the award, and it was this past year’s winner. Caleb Williams is primed for another Heisman Trophy, according to Acho. Acho cited Lincoln Riley’s ability to produce top QB talent at the college level.

“I think Caleb Williams should obviously be the answer,” said Acho. “Lincoln Riley consistently produces Heisman Trophy winners. Now you get another year in this offense, you’re gonna get more weapons. Everything you need, Caleb Williams has.”

Gilmore shared a much more detailed list of his seven favorites to take home the award. Gilmore left the top spot on his list for “Player X” as it is still very early.

Williams, Blake Corum, Michael Penix Jr., Shedeur Sanders, Drake Maye, and Marvin Harrison Jr. took the other spots in that order.

Do you agree with Acho and Gilmore?
